46th FILM FESTIVAL WINNERS
The International Jury of the 46th Annual Gijón International Film Festival, composed of Julia Loktev, Malena Alterio, Alex Brendemühl, Sergio Wolf and Hannes Stöhr has awarded the following prizes to the films taking part in the Official Selection:
PRINCIPADO DE ASTURIAS PRIZE FOR BEST FEATURE FILM:

PRIZE FOR BEST DIRECTOR:

PRIZE FOR BEST ACTOR (ex aequo):

PRIZE FOR BEST ACTRESS:

PRIZE FOR BEST SCRIPT:
Sylvie Verheyde for “Stella”
“GIL PARRONDO” PRIZE FOR BEST ART DIRECTION:

The International Shorts Jury of the 46th Annual Gijón International Film Festival, composed of Eva Hache, Tom Fernández and Carlos J. Plaza, has awarded the:

The NonFiction-Documentary Section Jury of the 46th Annual Gijón International Film Festival, composed of Elena Oroz, Dario Oliveira and Claudio Utrera, has awarded the
NON FICTION/DOCUMENTARY PRIZE:

“Je veux voir” directed by Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige
and
“Z 32” directed by Avi Mograbi
The FIPRESCI Jury of the 46th Annual Gijón International Film Festival, composed of Maja Volk, Joan Millaret Valls and Rüdiger Suchsland, has awarded the
FIPRESCI RIZE to:

The Young Jury of the 46th Annual Gijón International Film Festival, composed of 50 teens aged 17 - 25 years, has awarded the following prizes:
YOUNG JURY PRIZE FOR BEST FEATURE FILM:
“Waltz with Bashir” directed by Ari Folman
YOUNG JURY PRIZE FOR BEST SHORT:
“Varmints” directed by Marc Craste
The Young audience of the “Enfants Terribles” section has awarded the following prize:
ENFANTS TERRIBLES SECTION PRIZE FOR BEST FEATURE under 13:
“The Three Investigators: The Secret of Skeleton Island” directed by Florian Baxmeyer
ENFANTS TERRIBLES SECTION PRIZE FOR BEST FEATURE over 12:
“Des poupées et des anges” directed by Nora Hamdi
The “Día D’Asturies” section Jury, composed of Nuria Vidal, Jaime Fernández Miranda (Jim-Box) and José Ramón Pérez Ornia, has awarded the “DÍA D’ASTURIES” prize, sponsored by TPA, to the shortfilm
“Vencíu” directed by Santos Hevia
The “Nuevos Realizadores del Principado de Asturias” Prize Jury, sponsored by the Instituto Asturiano de la Juventud (Consejería de Cultura y Turismo del Principado de Asturias) and Cajastur, has awarded two prizes to the following projects:
